hotmail to vista, live mail

Hi

I am trying to transfer my hotmail account contacts and messages to Vistas
live mail. Before I go any further...Is this possible?

know that live mail supports outlook- but cannot find any info on
transferring hotmail to vistas mail system

Hope I don't have to disable and start over

Any advice, however is appreciated

Make sure that you have the right version of Windows Live Mail.

here have a problem.
hotmail account (ONLY HOTMAIL OR MSN)
windows mail (to Vista) (this program is outlook express to Vista)
windows live mail (TO XP, VISTA, ETC)
Microsoft outlook (only 2007 to vista, xp, etc..........)
outlook express (No Vista)
(and etc......)
five things different but same function, all are emails programs.
I Thing No Possible
