Hotmail email default

Please can anyone tell me if it is possible to set Hotmail as my default
email in Windows Vista Premium
 
Hotmail does not function with Windows Mail.

He is obviously talking about Live Mail Desktop Beta and it`s
synchronization with Hot Mail accounts as explained in the presentation.
