Hotmail contacts using Outlook?

I am trying to send messages to my hotmail contacts when using outlook. I do
not have outlook connector. According to the Microsoft Office Online site
When I email a message and click the To, CC, or Bcc, in the "Select Names"
dialog box, under "Show Names from the", I can select "Contacts in your email
address". It shows some of my hotmail contacts but not all of them. Why
aren't all of them there? Is this just a way for them to get you to purchas
the outlook connector or can I retrieve them without it?

The "Show names from the" will show and allow you to select any Contact
folder you have enabled as an address book. If you have a contact in that
COntacts folder that has an electronic address (e-mail or fax), you should
see that contact in the list after choosing the folder containing it. You
will not be able to see any contact you store on the Hotmail server without
the Connector (which is FREE).

Thank you Brian. What I saw on the website was that it was $9.95 per month
to get the connector service. Where can I go to get it free?

The Outlook connector is free. It works for free mail account and contacts -
there is a beta version that does calendar too. All free. (The current
released version only does calendar for paid accts.)

You will need to convert your account to the live servers, if you haven't
already.
