Hotmail and yahoo

I just upgraded to ie6 and put in svpak4 on win2000. everything works
fine EXCEPT when I browse to Hotmail I get you are about to view pages
over a secure connection then I get you are about to leave a secure
Internet connection and a blank page. This has been happenning over
the last 3 days. I tried to sign up to Yahoo mail and I get server
down come back in 10 minutes. Tried over the last 5 hours about 10
times. I can get mail from hotmail on outlook express which was
previously set up. Is there some switch or something that I am missing?

try to log in.

What if you try to connect to https://www.microsoft.com <== note it's
