hotmail accounts

can not get into hotmail accounts or any help and support offered on hotmail
thru msn webpage.....accepts the the password, but will not bring up the
hotmail page...can surf the web fine otherwise....will not even allow me to
bring up help and support concerning hotmai.....?????.....bill

Specific to Hotmail:

Tools, internet options, advanced, browsing, HTTP 1.1 settings. Turn off
"Use HTTP 1.1", turn on "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections" (success
seems to be dependent upon ISP)

thank you very much.....the problem appeared to be the http-1 setting in
I.E.....again....thanks for your kind support......bill
