Is it ok to remove Windows XP Hotfixes from Add-Remove Programs in
Control Panel? I've got a bunch of them.

No. If you do that, you remove the fixes and expose yourself once
again to all the security holes they were designed to close.

www.dougknox.com has a hotfix backup removal tool that
will help you delete backups that wast space. It also
removes the hotfix entries from the add\remove program
list but not the hotfix itself. Keep smiling.

No, as Ken said, this removes the hotfix from your computer. You can
however, remove the Add/Remove entries and the backup files (uninstall
files) if your system is stable and you don't need to remove any of the
hotfixes. See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities Remove HotFix Backup
Files.
