I have all these lists for Windows XP Hotfix in my
add/remove programs. Is it safe to delete them?

No. If you remove them from Add/Remove normally, you will remove the actual
update.

To remove the hotfix entry from Add/Remove without removing the actual
update,

1. Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
2. Locate the following key in the registry:
3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
4. Make sure you backup the keys by exporting them to a .reg file.
5. Look for the hotfix number
6. Delete the entire listing for the hotfix.
7. Close the registry editor.
8. Restart your computer.

By doing the above, only the Add/Remove entry is removed; the update will
not be removed. Also, uninstallation of any hotfix is not possible.

No. Do not remove them. These are all the security (and other)
updates to Windows you've installed. If you remove these, you
will put back the security exposure they removed.
