Go to the control panel under add remove programs there
you will see a list of windows updates some of which are
windows hotfixes, they are basically upgrades to your
operating system example windows XP
A hotfix is one of the updates you downloaded and installed from
WindowsUpdate. Do not remove them unless any one particular update is ging
you trouble. If all is fine, then either leave them alone or you can remove
the listings from Add & Remove easily by using the tool from MVP Doug Knox
on the WinXP Utilities section of his stie www.dougknox.com.
