I have installed .Net framework 1.1 on my box and when I apply .Net
framework 1.1 SP1 to it ,it says that to run this application you need to
have .net framework 2.0 !!!!!! I can not underestand this???!!Why do I need
Framework 2.0 to apply Sp1 to version 1.1????

Where Can I get the .Net framework 1.1 hotfix ???

Windows update fails and it says in Event log that aspnet_wp (worker
process) is killed.I searched internet,lots of people had the same problem.I
don't know why that's the problem

no idea...
but if you have an unregistered version of windows that *might* be the
reason.. some update don't work for unregistered copy...

Te only thing that I've undrestood so far is that mscoree.dll in system32
folder is creating all mess.It has been probably updated to version 2.0 when
I installed beta and when I unistalled the beta ,it has not been reverted to
the previous version.No everthing I'd like to install is asking me to
install back version 2.0.
Uninstalling beta sucks,
