Hotel or B and B Accommodation in the Basildon Area

Hi all

Can anyone from the Essex area suggest some decent hotel or B and B accommodation in the Basildon or surrounding area for me? Work will be taking me there shortly and any recommendations would be gratefully received.

Both Hotel chains seem to be good and i'm sure they are fine for a single person travelling on their own. Have a good & safe trip.

Travel Lodge's aren't that great...

Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express are nice...

I find when i travel that Travel Lodge are cheap & cheerful, Holiday Inns are more expensive, it really depends how much you want to spend? Travel Lodge £55, Holiday Inn £70.
