I wanted to add emoticons to my email messages and came across something
called Hotbar. Appears to be a free add-on for email clients. Does
anyone have any experience with this? Is it safe to install?

It was considered ADDWARE and/or SPYWARE
and was rejeceted by many.. it use to be able to skin your
IE toolbars with nice images.. Which was not such a bad idea for some.
They should have made that application addware free.

It's a really, really bad hijacker/malware/spyware program. Run away!

It is bad bad bad - stay away from Hot Bar.

Thanks Fran. Not sure if it is compatable with Thunderbird though. sayys
version 8.1 is but that is in german only.
