Hot-key to open files

Hi

I found if I use Alt-Esc, it can switch to some AP to another AP. I
mean these APs are already activated and they appear in the bottom of
the window. Of course, you need to hit RETURN.
My question is if there are three files using the same AP. Let's say
three word files. They are stacked. How do I choose specific one by
hot-key?
Thanks in advance.

ALT+ESC cycles through items in the order they were opened.

Ungroup them.

Right click the Taskbar | Properties | Taskbar tab |
UNCHeck: Group similar taskbar buttons

Group similar taskbar buttons
[[Displays taskbar buttons for files opened by the same program in the same
area of the taskbar. In addition, if the taskbar becomes so crowded with
buttons that the width of the buttons shrinks beyond a certain width, then
the buttons for the same program are collapsed into a single button.
Clicking the button lets you access the document you want. Right-clicking
the button lets you close all the documents you want.]]
