Hello.

I have a problem. I have my Windows Xp in Spanish. But I want to use
the english hot keys, like CTR+A select all text (in spanish XP is
CTR+E), CTR+N new window (in spanish CTR+U),...

I want to change these all hot keys but I don't know what I have to do.
I had a look in Accesibility, regedit,... but I didn't find anything.

Can you help me?

Thanks a lot.

I think you'll probably have to work with a third-party utility so that
both Windows and applications are covered. Here's one I just found by
some creative googling: http://www.zealsoftstudio.com/shortcuts/

Add English to your keyboard by going to the Control Panel/Date, Time,
language, regional settings/Add other languages/Options. You can toggle
between languages with Alt+Shift or using the mouse on the icon that
will appear near your clock after adding the language.

See my post. No third party programs or utilities needed.

Ok, thanks, but I want other thing.

For example, when you are in IE and you want other window, you can go
to file, new, new window, or you can press CTR+N. In my spanish XP I
have to press CTR+U, but I want to use the english hotkey. Another
example, if you are in Word and you want to select all text in the
document you can do CTR+A or Edit, select all; but i have to press
CTR+E, and i want to use the english hotkey.

I think I have to change something in the windows configuration. Or
perhaps i can do anything, only install Windows XP in english.

Any idea?
