hot fixes

i have a few "hot fixes" with numbers afetr that i do not recognize. when i
type in the kb... number in address the search shows "domain name does not
exist" and then it goes to an adult site home page. if i go to delete this
"hot fix" a warning window comes ups and lists several programs that are tied
to the hot fix and says that these programs might not work properly if the
"hot fix" is removed. why does it go to adult home page and can i delete.

It sounds like you have a malware infestation. Try searching for a
nonsense string of characters/letters, and see what happens.

Thank you Bob 1. Now what should I do. I do have spyware that I run though
obviously it did not pick this up. Should I do a re-boot? Thanks again. tom408

Reboot, as is in Shut down the PC and power back on? Sure. You may also
want to DL a copy of Spybot S&D and a copy of Ad-aware SE. They are free
