HORM without option at the beginning of bootup

Hi,

I am using HORM for my machine, and i want to get rid of the options that
appear everytime when i boot up the machine

The options are simply asking user about to start from hibernation or to
delete the restoration information and goto a normal boot. Is there a method
to get rid of that and goes directly by the hibernation file?

You need to use special ntldr from XPe SP2 to avoid this error. This is change that make HORM possible.

special ntldr? Could I specified that during building the OS? or I need to
replace it after build?

Hi,

Only modified ntldr that I know of is the one used for disk based EWF. So you should use component meant to include this ntldr.
instead of the one used by regular XP.

In case it is for our own training purposes, you can do a hack in ntldr to change the hinernate file signature from WAKE to HORM.
To get more details, search NG archive for the thread between Slobodan and me on the subject (it was SP1 times).
