I have Powerpoint 2003 and I would like to do a horizontal high-low graph.
Does anyone have any ideas. I can do it by importing from another program,
but it is kind of unwieldy.

Any help, advice or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks
Meg

Not sure what a horizontal high-low is. You can create a horizontal bar chart
in PowerPoint. In edit mode, select Chart > Chart Type

Do you mean like the one in the upper left at
http://www.gigawiz.com/ChartsG17.html ?

If so, I'd probably use a scatter chart and add error bars. Or maybe just a
line chart and scatter chart combination. Regardless, I'd probably do the
chart in Excel and insert it into PPT. (Actually, if I used error bars, I'd
have to do it in Excel -- PPT's aren't flexible enough to do it.)

Hopefully one of the Excel gurus will pop in with a link to specific
instructions. If not, I've got some charts just like that, and I can
probably dig them up over the weekend if you need specific instrux.

Thanks, Andy! I figured you guys would already have instructions up for
these somewhere!
