Horizontal scrolling in calendar?

When viewing multiple shared calendars using the day view, Outlook
keeps shrinking the width of all the calendars as I view more. Is
there any way to have a fixed width & have a horizontal scrollbar at
the bottom? I am using Outlook 2007.
