OL 2003: Calendar gridlines (month view) missing

Something strange has happened to my Outlook 2003 "month view" calendar
gridlines. The black vertical lines that separate the days now have a gap in
them. Instead of extending from the top of each day's horizontal line to the
bottom of the day's horizontal line, the vertical lines now begin about where
the first appointment would appear. The gap appears to correspond to the
vertical space that would be occupied by the "day indicator", the colored
rectangle that appears on the current day. The gap appears for every day in
the month view and is present when scrolling up or down in the calendar
window. My co-workers all have the same problem. This phenomenon occurred
right after the last Windows update was performed yesterday. Has anyone else
seen this problem? Is there a fix?

No fix as of yet, but it is believed to be a direct result from a recent
update. We'll just wait for a fix.

I have the same problem. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago, which is
consistent with the theory of it being caused by a recent MS Update.
Not sure if it was a specific Outlook update or a general DLL update
somewhere else that is affecting the display. But it seems to be only
cosmetic for the moment. Hopefully MS will fix it soon, it is a
little annoying and it is ugly.

But not as ugly as Outlook 2007!
