Honey you broke IE6

We have xp set up for two users.Until today everything fine. Now, my IE6
works fine, hers wont open any web page. All settings seem identical,
network settings say she is connected to our cable broadband, her OE sends
and receives and her Yahoo messenger works. I tried run scannow, and iefix
in program files. What can I look at that wont interfere with my IE6 ?
Thanks

Create a third, test account. Try IE in there. If it works, import her data
from her account, delete it, rename test account. Ta da!
Good luck!

Hi,
Created a new account, IE doesn't work in that either. Tried the
winsock fix, no good, ran Hijack, cw shredder, A2, no nasties. My IE still
works fine ? I can get on the net with firefox from her account so it
doesn't seem to be a connection problem.

Panic over. It was the firewall. Although the settings are the same as
mine, and internet explorer had permission to contact the net, for some
reason it was trying to connect through windows explorer which was blocked.
I changed the win explorers setting to 'ask', and after a couple of sites it
was connecting through internet explorer as normal ????

This is crazy. My wifes logon is connecting through windows explorer. I
checked running processes and only explorer.exe windows explorer is running.
In my own account iexplore is running.
