HomeServer support in 64-bit?

Since there is no "Microsoft Community" to support Windows HomeServer except
in .de., I shall post my question here.

Does anyone know if Microsoft is going to provide HomeServer support for
64-bit systems? It is rather maddening when I build this 64-bit hotrod
computer and decide to add an HP MediaSmart Server using Windows HomeServer
to my home network only to find 64-bit systems are not supported!!

Luckily, I set this system up to dual-boot with 32-bit XP Pro so I could get
the server going for the other machines, all using 32-bit OSs, but to this
64-bit version of Vista, the server is stealth, i.e., ain't there. I have
to reboot into XP in the evening so the HomeServer can do its backup!

I know no one knows what Microsoft is or is not going to do, but am asking
just on the off-chance someone has heard something.

Here's a reply from a MVP on 21 Mar 2008...
"Microsoft ALWAYS intended to support 64bit Vista with WHS, however due to
some changes in the 64bit Vista code during development of WHS it couldnt be
included in time for the release of WHS therefore it was going to be
included as soon as was feasible - obviously now being the Power Pack 1
release.

What is Power Pack 1?
Not the same as SP1 presumably.
Or is it anything to do with Power Toys.
You had better tell us, we're totally confused.

Microsoft says...
"Future versions of Windows Home Server may support 64-bit processors only,
so it is recommended that you use a 64-bit compatible processor to ensure
that you can upgrade to future versions."
