Homepage Reset Blocked!

I just had the Windows SP2 installed which made all kinds
of security settings and changes. (nice by the way) My
problem is that my homepage has been reset to MSN.com
which is not what I want. I know how to change this
browser setting (tools> internet options> general >
homepage) BUT it has been disabled and "grayed out" so
that I cannot change it back. I have searched high and
low about correcting this. I had this happen to me once
before and I caused it, so I knew how to fix it...but I
can't remember how! Any advice welcome and thanx for
reading.

Problem solved! I was running all of my maintenece
chores, updates, scans and such, when I finished using
SpyBot Search & Destroy I saw the setting. SpyBot has a
check-box in the miscellaneous options menu for "Lock IE
start page setting against user changes (current user)."

If you run SpyBot and have this happen open SpyBot,
Click "Immunize" and see the setting at the bottom of the
page under "Recommended miscellaneous protections."
