homepage for IE .....

hi XP Lovers
my url is changing automaticly in a local portal on my c
drive
I reset the homepage for IE by going to Internet Options
and clicking on the "use current page" if I have manually
navigated to my home page.

but .... afther a wile when I open IE

i did delete the dir. of the local portal on my drive c
but.... its comming back

is it the terminator (i'll be back) :)

Hi Rodney,

For Pro: Go to Start/Run and type in: gpedit.msc
User Configuration/Windows Settings/Internet Explorer Mantainence/URLs. In
the right pane double click Important URL's.

Either uncheck all three boxes or fill them in correctly. Leaving them
unchecked still gives you the option of setting the HomePage manually via
IE.

Run this edit to unlock your HomePage settings:

Home Page Lock and Unlock for Internet Explorer (Line 63)
