homepage default problem

When I open the browser or hit home, I'm sent to an ad
page that shows as about:blank. When I try to change it,
it will work temporarily and then change itself back. I
looked for cookies with that name, didn't find anything. I
can't block the url because it's not a normal one. Any
suggestions or help? Thanks in advance.

You probably have a variant of CoolWebSearch. See
