Homepage changes without consent, bug?

B

Brendon

When using Internet Explorer, I get a ton of the same ads,
and sometimes when I visit a site it forwards me to another
site that says "Page not found" with links to ads under it
and whatnot, when I had seen the page before it forwarded
me to a different one. When I tried going to the same
website on Mozilla, everything was fine- the browser runs
perfectly. However IE isn't perfect. Further, the homepage
keeps changing. I make the homepage one website, and it
stays like that, but then later in the day it forwards to
res://mshp.dll/index.html#22776.

I'm totally lost on this one.

Brendon,

This is caused by a CoolWebSearch variant.
