Homeconnect usb camera

I've upgraded to XP and my homeconnect usb camera does
not work. Does anyone know where i can get a driver that
works?
I've tried the VICAM driver but it comes up with an error
message saying that the camera is in use with another
application? Does anyone know what this would be or how
i can find out what it is so i can disable it?

Have you been to the manufacturer's website and checked for updated drivers?

Hello,
Got the same (black-cased) homeconnect cam.
The "vicam" drivers are OK.
Had a problem once such as described.
Disconnected ALL USB devices but the camera and reinstalled the "vicam"
package.
Everything fell in place and stayed put afterwards.
The problem was traceable to a TV/Radio Reception/Decoder (pci) card that
already had its drivers intalled.
Any time I reinstall XP, the "vicam" drivers go in b4 the TV/Radio's ones.
Problem avoided.
