If you are running XP you will need to turn off System
Restore while cleaning.

Once you have completely cleaned your system of spyware
be sure to check Windows Updates and to keep it
maintained update Windows regularly (at the very least
once a month) - ALWAYS download Critical Updates. You
can set your computer for automatic updates if you prefer.

try downloading and running cwshredder
it's pretty good at removing spyware garbage
