[Getting Angry]

Home page has changed, cannot change back. Internet
Tools, Options,,, General Tab is not there, so there is no
way of changing it back to my home page. Went on MSN tech
support and tryed the fixes listed. Cannot run scanreqw,
because it comes up with an error message that it cannot
be found. Cannot run regedit, because it has a message
that it has been disabled by the administrator. This is a
home computer, there is no administrator, no network.
Help please!

Missing the General Tab under Tools/Advanced tab...
This has been known to be caused by some malware called CoolWebSearch. Do
the following:
Download and run: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip to
remove the parasite.
Then download and run:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/iegentabs.reg to restore your
tabs and remove any restrictions that the parasite has put in place.

Make sure also that your virus definition table is up to date.
