My home page is currently locked, i dont know how it got
that way, but how can i unlock it and assign me a new
home page?

if you go into internet connections click on the

conections tab you will see your home page address just
delete it, set it to one you want then click apply
 
If you are running some security programs, such as SpyBot,
they can lock your homepage to prevent hijacking your
browser.
