I am new here, just downloaded Microsoft Antivirus the other day.
Everytime the scan runs, it tells me 'Possible Browser Hijack' and the
'Threat' is high.
My browser is set to my ISP home page, so I am wondering, why is it telling
me that my browser might have been hijacked? And is there a way to let the
antivirus software know what my prefered homepage is?

There are a number of viruses, although not widely distributed ones, which
disable Microsoft Antispyware. Has your machine been fully scanned with
current definitions with a good antivirus application recently?

Yep, I keep my anti-virus software up to date, definations and all. And it
does a full scan once a day.
