home page gets redirected

A friend called and is having problems. They have their home page set to
www.yahoo.com(It displays this in the tools). When they open their
browser the yahoo home pages flashed extremely briefly then some other
search page comes up. I think the page displays MSN search(but Im
probably wrong). We have ran virus scan and it shows no viruses. We have
ran ad-aware SE and cleaned up any spyware but none of this helped.

Anyone else run into this problem??

Is there any program out there that logs everything that happens when
you start IE, hopefully I can whats going on and get rid of it.
