Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have 3 computers. 2 are connected
through a switch and the 3 one is as well which is the main PC. the main
computer is connected to my broadband modem via USB port. I can ping all
computers and access files over the network. the 2 computers obtain their IP
address from the main PC via DHCP.

but my problem is trying to get internet explorer 6 to work accross my
network from the other 2 computers to the main PC. the main PC is always on
and connected to my ISP broadband, but the 2 other computers when I launch
IE6 does not let me browse the web. the main PC can web browse but not the
other 2. can anyone help me here please in sorting this nightmare out

assuming you are using ICS, it could be the DNS issue. can you ping a public IP from other computers? this step by step troubleshooting may help,

Having a Broadband connection, I would use the USB Modem as a paper weight,
and get myself an External Ethernet Modem and a Cable/DSL Router. It would
be happiness for less then $80. ;)
