I have two computers in my house a laptop with wireless internet and a
desktop with wired internet. How can i set up a network so i can access files
from my desktop from my laptop anywhere in my house with out haveing to
connect them with wires?

If both computers use the same wireless router, they can network with
each other. It makes no difference whether they use a wired or
wireless connection to the router.

Run the Network Setup Wizard on each computer. If the Wizard detects
the router's shared Internet connection, tell it to use that.
Otherwise, tell the Wizard that the computer connects to the Internet
through a residential gateway. The Wizard will enable file sharing
and create a Shared Documents folder. You can then right-click and
share other desired folders.
