home network through a hub

I'm trying to setup a home network through a hub (both machines have xp pro),
but on one of the machines,I'm missing the desired "network connection type."
That is, the "home or small office network." I'm pretty sure that this is
the connection wizard that I need, but it is absent on one of the machines!
BTW, both machines have SP2. What do I do?

hey m8 you can create a networking disk from 1 of the computers wizard it
gives you a choice at the end of the wizard and if you make this disk you can
run it on the other comp without the wizard and it should work
