home network on XP not working

hi all !!

i have 2 Pc's while one is connected to the Cabel Modem
and the other connected to him. My network connection is
not working. if you could take a look at py ipconfigs and
tell me what is wrong i will be a happy man :)

both of them are in WorkGroup - MSHOME

there is a good chance that it is all mixed up , i have a
strong urge to delete this enthernet bridge and config it
all from the start , but i am not sure about it,

You might indeed want to start by deleting the bridge.

Next you need to ask how are you sharing the internet connection? Have you
activated ICS (did you run the Network Wizard and say "This computer provides
internet service to other computers")? PC-2 is showing an APIPA address - that
happens when there is no server to issue it an address, and will cause it to not
have connectivity with PC-1.

Please provide detailed ipconfig information for each computer.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad, copy and paste into your next post.
Identify operating system (by name and version) with each ipconfig listing.
