Hello all.
I have a small home network,
PC A connects to the internet via external DSL modem.
PC B connects to PC A via Crossove cable and NIC.
PC C connects to PC A via Crossove cable and NIC.
All are running XP Pro.

What I would like to do is to connect a laptop, running XP
Pro,
to PC A via Bluetooth.
I managed to get file sharing between them, but can not
get
an internet connection on the laptop.

Not very familiar w/ bluetooth myself, but, as I understand it, because XP
doesn't support bluetooth natively, there are various "bridging"
applications necessary and provided for internet access, file
access/sharing, etc.

After looking at your ipconfig on the laptop, one thing is clear, DHCP is
enabled, but that IP address assignment is NOT coming from DHCP. That's the
automatic IP assignment that's applied whenever DHCP fails! (169.x.x.x w/
255.255.0.0 mask). That's done so at least TCP/IP keeps functioning, but
since it's not in the same subnet as your other PCs (192.168.0.x), it has no
connectivity w/ them, or obviously, the Internet. So however you have your
"bridging" configured, it's not reaching the DHCP server (I assume this is
an ICS setup ?). You might try setting the IP, gateway, and dns server
addresses *manually* for now, just to see if connectivity is there, then
address the DHCP issue next.

Thank you, all sorted now, set ip manually, as you said.
Still didn't work, but I have gotten thru it now, as I had
to reconfigure the sharing on host as well.
Thank you
