Hi

All of a sudden I can't access any of the shared folders on my desktop
machine ( hosts the shared Internet Connection on XP Pro) from my wireless
networked laptop (accesses shared internet connection on XP Home). It just
stopped working. But only in one direction!!! I can access the shared files
on my laptop from the desktop but not the other way round ( as stated above)
Both systems have been SP2ed and have worked fine for a couple of weeks ...
now this!!! Any clues?

The internet sharing is perfect no problems there, and I have run the
newtwork setup wizard again at both ends to no avail. When the attempt is
made to access the shared files on the desktop I get the usual " you may not
have acess priveleges... blah blah" but then I get a line that reads "not
enough server storage is available to process this command". What does this
mean? I have accessed the online help and found references to IRPStackSize
settings, but these do not seem to make any difference. I'm truly stuck!!!

Any help gratefully appreciated!!!

Anthony

If the IRPStackSize fix did not work, try turning off offline files. You
can get this error if the offline file cache exceeds the remaining disk
space on the client machine.

Thanks but I am not 100% sure what you mean. Do you mean file
synchronisation or some setting on the shared folders themselves?

Thanks Anthony

Anthony,

the IRPStackSize setting has to be corrected on the target
computer, not on the one where you experience the problem.
