I have 2 computers running XP Home on a wireless network. Internet
sharing works fine all the time. File and printer sharing work fine for
about 20 min. and then one stops sharing (always the same one). I have
to go to Computer Management /Services and restart the Server. The
Server service is on automatic on both machines but for the one with the
problem, I have to start it manually when I first turn it on.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Have you checked your event viewer in the Administration menu? What are the
sequence of events in there?

Thanks for response
98% of the Event Viewer messages say:
Type: Warning
Source: Microsoft Fax
Category: Initialization/Termination

I have no clue to the meaning of that

p.s. excuse my english
