Holes in the Firewall

E

eeeeek

I have a Win2k server that is now behind a firewall and
when I try to log into a Domain account, I get the
error "The system cannot log you on now because the domain
DOMAINNAME is not available."

I've been opening holes in the firewall to the PDC and
WINS server (both NT 4.0); but, I obvously haven't found
the right one yet. Any suggestions? I can ping the PDC
and WINS server, so I at least have some visibility.

Hi,

Instead of poking holes in your firewall you should create a VPN. Poking
holes in your firewall makes your network at risk.
