The waste chamber is ribbed in this and most cartridges. That means that if
you
drill a hole you will find it difficult to get all of the waste toner out.
You can easily dissasemble the cartridge using a drift (not a tapered one),
with the drift drive in the two toner cartridge pins (you can see them at each
end of the cartridge, they are stainless steel and you will see what size
drift
you need). Drift them into the cartridge, a reasonable amount of force is
required. Once they are pushed right in you can separate the two parts of the
cartridge and remove the Primary Charge Roller and the wiper blade exposing
the
waste hopper. Recover the pins and use them to reassemble the cartridge when
you have done your work.
