holding shiftkey down for 8 seconds

I held my shiftkey down the pop up window came up I hit okay. Now my keyboard
will not repeat letters, the backspace moves only once. What do I do?
 
Holding down the shift key for 8 seconds activates 'Filter Keys'. To
de-activate it you need to go into the Windows Control Panel* > double-click
Accessibility Options > uncheck 'Use Filter Keys'.

*In case you don't know how to get to the Control Panel ... it may be listed
in your Start menu, or alternatively double-click the 'My Computer' icon on
your desktop and Control Panel should be listed at the left-hand side under
'Other Places'.
