Holding "CTRL" does not allow pop up. Why?

,Hello,

I have a desktop WXP SP2 Packard Bell with 1GB RAM and top specs, less than
a year old. I have upgraded to IE7 and have disabled all my pop-up blockers
yet I still get pop ups blocked with the usual message about holding down
"ctrl" however this has no effect whatsoever.
Any explanation please? It's annoying in sites where account details appear
in a popup window!

Thanks

Hi,
Don't forget that IE7 has a Pop-up Blocker by default, it is a neew
feature,I think it called Anti-phishing filter that waren you against sites.
I don't have IE7 instaled Yet!!, so I can't say how you configure the Pop-up
blocker there, but you can read help on the IE7.

Try holding down the Ctrl + Alt keys. If that works then you
haven't disabled the pop-up blocker in IE7. Check Tools ->
Pop-up Blocker -> Pop-up Blocker Settings.

If that's not the problem, check any security programs or
browser toolbars you have installed. One of them may have a
pop-up blocking feature you haven't disabled.

Good luck
