History problem

I am using IE 6.0. and XP Home

My history folder is supposed to keep the URLs for 20 days.

But recently I've noticed that when I click I don't get any history.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

Are you running some kind of disk cleanup utility like Disk Cleaner?

Yes, I have a program called Beat It. When I run it, it cleans out stuff,
including the history folder. But I haven't run it for awhile and I'm still
getting no history.

If you are running ZoneAlarm and happened to turn on the 'Cache Cleaner', that could be a reason.

I cannot find the cache cleaner. Does this exist with the free version??

I shut off ZA briefly, went to some other sites.

It still shows no history

History pane in Internet Explorer is blank; View and Search buttons are
missing
