History keeps reverting back to 0 days

For some reason, history keeps reverting back to 0 days. I go to Internet
Options, set it to 6 days, click Apply, and click OK. It'll stay at that for
a day or two, then it reverts back to 0 days. Any ideas what's causing this
or how to fix it?

Not a darn Clue???
But would like to add, I read that the settings you select are not
configured unless you restart the computer?
Now, I know you do this after a while ,but I wonder if you did it as some
after apply it might register that request?
Can't hurt to try?
There isn't much Instructions , there is there??

Are you using any third party programs designed to cover your tracks?
