History disappears

Within the last week my IE history has completely disappeared. I usually
keep 3 weeks worth but it is now disappearing every couple of days. It also
has two "todays" listed with different links in both lists. No one is
clearing it and I am running updated AVG, Spybot, and Ad-aware. I don't know
what else it could be.

Something similar happened to me, and I found the folders that should have
been stored in \Documents and Settings\{username}\Local Settings\History
were appearing in \Temp instead. I figured that the index.dat files might
be corrupted, so I deleted everything except desktop.ini from the History
folder. That seems to have cured the problem.
