Funny thats exactly the card I own...

I had anx850XT but it ran too hot. i swapped with a friend. It isn't as
fast but it is fast enough for me running BF2 at 1024x768 in high
quality mode.

It does run much cooler with the artic cooler on it.

No complaints.

I've got the HIS X1600 Pro, works great.
You might want to wait, there should be new models, like X1650s, coming out
around August 23rd.

Keep in mind NewEgg moves a fair bit of inventory (sales of $1.3 billion in
2005, 1/4 the size of AMD...), so the user reviews you see there are gonna
paint a better picture than comments from this NG.

The DOA rate of this card, at from the comments, is 22%. This is probably
very exaggerated. However, it is about twice as high as Sapphire or
Powercolor's.
