What does this warning mean: Event Viewer: Application: Warning: WinMgmt:
Event 63: A provider, HiPerfCooker_v1, has been registered in the WMI
namespace, Root\WMI, to use the local system account. This account is
privileged and the provider may cause a security violation if it does not
correctly impersonate user requests.

I'm guessing that you saw this event shortly after you installed SP3. I
have an open ticket on this topic with Microsoft, but as near as I can
tell, it doesn't indicate that anything "bad" is going on.

HiPerfCooker appears to be related to the "Formatted Performance Data
Provider" aka the "Cooked Counter Provider" (see
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa390431(VS.85).aspx).

It would be nice if Microsoft would tell us ahead of time that a
warning would show up in our "event" listing so that we wouldn't
waste time wondering and worrying about it. Damned idiots.
