Hiow to remove garbage item from Add/Remove Program tray?

In my win2k's add/remove program tray there's an unused entry - which was
already removed but I cannot remove it from the program list. How can I
manually remove it? I guess it is must be somewhere in WINNT or Regisrtry?

You can delete the offending subkey from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.
Just be sure you don't delete the Uninstall key itself! :]
