Hijack?? What else can I do?!!

Please bear with me while I explain.....

I got a hijacker/Trojan on my computer (Startpage/Elite Toolbar?Dyu?) and
duly ran ALL my security devices:-

Anti Virus (grisoft) - found and removed Startpage Trojan
Search & Destroy - found and removed DYU and Elite
AdAware - found and removed 18 malware entries reg and folders
Pest Contrrol - found and removed a trojan and IBS toolbar

Still with me?! OK, having done all this and rebooted I find I still have
two minor but very irritating problems on programs I use a lot. My search
facility seems to have been hijacked by "SEarchMiracle" although it is set
to use MSN search by default and my Yahoo Companion Toolbar will not show up
despite being re-downloaded and apparaently OK.

Can anyone advise me how to get my Yahoo Companion Toolbar to show again and
how to get rid of the unwanted Search Miracle thingy? Apart from that I have
not come across any other obvious problems (yet!)

Well...the good news is I've managed to get my Companion Toolbar back...not
sure how - bit of "forcing" I think!! Still stuck with the search problem
though (

Download HiJackThis, run a scan but don't delete anything and then take the
log of that scan and post it in here. If you do that I can tell you what to
get rid of. Unfortunately I haven't heard of that name "searchMiracle".
There is one other thing you can do - there is also a newsgroup called
alt.privacy.spyware where you can ask how to get rid of that and they may
know straight off.

As for Yahoo search bar, it may be corrupted. Reinstall will fix it.

because you have to run it in safe mode.
