My pld FP2000 had a theme called "Highway" that I used on one of my sites. I upgraded to FP2002 and it is not there any longer. Could someone tell me if I can get it back?

Hi Doug,
I hope you don't me saying this but I'd try and avoid the themes. They make
your site stand out as a "FrontPage website" which isnt a good thing.

I know themes are easy but could you try and replicate the highway theme but
add some of your own design.

he can also modify the theme to make it more unique...mix and match buttons from other themes, etc. - it's a good learning experience. you also learn the limitations of themes in the process.

I would say the same thing a Jon but I have used the highway theme since
it's not all that common to see.
if you lay all your content into a well thought out table with the cells and
borders turned on it'll look like a traffic layout.
I found this theme in fp 2002 which you say you have. maybe try help/
detect and repair, if you publish the site from the server to your local
machine you'll be essentially publishing the theme to your computer.

I your online site still uses that theme open it in FP (File Open web http://www.yoursite.com/) and then File Publish All to get it
back to your local
- FP should create it as a custom theme locally (available to all sites)
- after any upgrade you always need to do a Publish all anyway to get the sites in sync

If you can't do that, uninstall FP2002, reinstall FP2000, open it and use Format Theme Modify (change anything) and Save as a custom
new theme name, reinstall FP2002
- or w/ FP 2000 installed copy the themes (folders) you want to preserve from:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Themes
to:
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Themes
Typically that's in
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Microsoft\Themes
