Highlighted files in Explorer

Can someone please let me know why certain files listed
in some sub directories in Exlorer are highlighted in
blue? I am trying to work out if this means that they are
being accessed by a third party or not? or flagged for a
special reason?
 
Hi,

The blue color indicates the files and/or folders are compressed.
